Buyer paid cash
Prospective buyer came to view a chair I had for sale. We agreed a price £30 lower than the buy now. He said he didn't know how to sort it online and wanted to pay cash. I said ok. I now need Ebay to reflect this and to pay any fee due to Ebay. I've emailed Ebay to ask for help. I don't want anyone to meet the buy now price.

Mentor6 months agoThere shouldn't be any fee. All you can do now is cancel the listing. Click on the dropdown menu next to the item on your selling page > End listing. Or use this link:

How did they manage to get your address? eBay usually block messages containing personal details prior to online payment.

OP6 months agoThought I had replied. The buyer asked to view the chair. It came via the same Ebay as others who have put in low offers, which I declined. All look above board. Will see what Ebay say when they respond to my email asking for help. Thank you very much for your assistance and for sending the link. I couldn't see it on my listing. Now cancelled.
