Buyer - orders mixed up and delivered to wrong person
Hi
After some advice please. Two orders were mixed up, possibly by postman putting on wrong labels. One buyer wants a return and refund. I have contacted the other buyer several times but with no response.....I need them to return the wrong item. Where do I stand as I can't see that I can start the return process?
Thanks

Mentor1 year agoYou would of course have to send the buyer a pre paid label to return to you, but nothing you can do to force the return.
As seller you cannot start the procedure, the buyer who has contacted for a refund, should open a not as described return, and you deal with the case once opened. Other buyer should do the same.
Once one is sorted you are left with the tricky problem of do you send to correct buyer, leaving him with both items and other buyer with only a refund.
There is nothing which can be done through ebay, but however it works out, I suggest the uncooperative buyer is placed on your blocked bidders list.
