Buyer or seller correct
I have just left neutral feedback for a handbag I received (as a buyer) - was I right in doing so, or was the seller's response to me correct?!
In brief: Radley handbag with a Radley Dog Tag shown in last photo with the description stating that if "Selling price reaches over £15 the tag will be included in sale". When bidding reached £15, I put in my bid of £15.34 and won the auction at that price. I assumed the tag would be included (I paid £15.34 PLUS postage costs). Bag arrived, no tag. When I contacted the seller she said that the sale had not reached £15 and sent me a screenshot taken at her end which shows the price at just over £14 which she claims is the actual Selling price (as that is what she receives after ebay have deducted 'buyer's protection' from the payment).
So, did the "selling price" reach over £15 ? I assumed it did as this was the final auction bidding price and the price I paid. (I am a seller as well by the way and completely understand that the seller doesn't receive what the buyer pays). I feel at the very least the listing was misleading ....
And yes, I am making a fuss over a tag on a handbag (I collect them - I'm sure that will sound a bit sad to some! - but that's why I bid on the bag in the first place)
And yes, I left neutral rather than negative as the bag is quite nice and in good condition even if the seller did respond to me in capital letters and made excuses about selling for others and for charity (no evidence of that on this or any of her listings).
