Buyer opens INAD, offered partial refund, no response what to do
Buyer opened INAD, with deadline for me to accept 3 days.
I offered partial refund. No response from the buyer after 2 days.
Is the clock ticking?
Ebay apparently gives no option to withdraw partial return offer, and accept return unconditionally.
Or am I missing something?
UI for sellers is really abysmal.

OP5 months agoThanks I see that now. You can get yourself in quite a mess.
Buyer takes 29 days to request refund. Then if you happen to offer partial refund you find yourself subject to buyer's will. In case of lack of thereof (or simply lack of contact) you find yourself crossing a deadline (unless you knock to support).
Then buyer cancels a partial refund offer and immediately opens a case against you.
In the meantime it turns out that parcel is Global Shipping Program so you cannot issue a label manually unless buyers provides a quote and you transfer money to them and then they buy label themselves. They obviously need to understand the matter but rightly so might be wary of some sort of scam.
A lot of hassle and risk. Probably my last accidental participance in GSP.

If the option to provide a label isn't there when you open the case, you can contact Ebay and ask them what you should do next.
If you don't do anything, then the buyer may ask ebay to step in and they could refund the buyer without them returning the item.
