buyer opened an item not received request
A buyer opened an 'Item Not Received' case, but the tracking clearly shows that the item was delivered, accompanied by photo proof. The buyer first confirmed their shipping address was correct, but now they claim the courier delivered to the wrong place. Despite this, they are still asking for a refund.
I’m unsure how to handle this situation. As sellers, we ship to the exact address provided, and in this case, delivery is confirmed. If there was a mistake, shouldn’t the responsibility fall on the courier, not the seller?
Does anyone know if eBay would close this case in the seller’s favour when there’s proof of delivery? How do you usually handle buyers who claim non-receipt even with valid tracking and delivery confirmation?

Mentor11 months agoAs long as the tracking is on ebay the buyer will lose the case. Ask them to ask their neighbours in someone took it in.
