Buyer not turning up to collect vehicle and no payment
I have sold a motorcycle via an ebay classified ad and the buyer has not called to collect as he said he would. He has stopped responding to messages. I do not believe he has any intention of completing the sale.
As I did not cancel the advert (it was automatically cancelled by ebay when I accepted his offer) it is unfair that I have to pay to relist the item due to a timewasting buyer.
Does anyone have any experience of resolving this scenario with ebay?

Mentor1 month agoIt's a shame that you accepted his offer, what you should have done is to have agreed to it via eBay messages and then accepted it when the buyer came to view the motorcycle and confirmed that they wanted it. Then it would be safe to click on the accept the offer button and close the listing.

Mentor1 month agoI'm afraid there's nothing to resolve with eBay. Placing an ad as a Classified ad on eBay, is akin to placing an add in your local paper.
If the vehicle doesn't sell the paper would not refund you your advettising fee.
If you relist as a Classified ad, still the best method for vehicles, then just add all the listing fees, which are never refundable, to the starting price of the vehicle.
