Buyer not giving code
Summary: judester2387 sold a buggy on an online platform and faced an issue with the item collection process after sending their address to the buyer. The buyer's partner collected the buggy but did not provide the necessary QR code for confirming the pick-up, leaving judester2387 worried about not receiving payment. They are currently on maternity leave and are facing financial difficulties. tressygirl advised them to send a polite message to the buyer explaining that the payout is on hold and requesting the 6-digit code to manually confirm the collection.
I've sold a buggy on ebay. I had a local collection which I've never used before - normally I post. I had messaged the buyer my address to collect the buggy. I was returning with my twin babies in the heat and the buyers partner was waiting. I was not expecting them as we hadn't agreed a time. He waved his phone at me with a QR code but at the time I was holding my baby and never realised I needed a code to confirm collection. The buyer is now not replying to my message re. Messaging me a code. Im on maternity leave and we are really short of money and I worry I'll not get paid for the buggy now.

Mentor1 month agoYou will get paid for the buggy but you may have to wait a minimum of 14 days.
Send the buyer a polite message explaining your payout is on hold and to release it sooner, if they could kindly send you that 6 digit code, which you can enter manually to show the item was collected.
That's all you can do .
