Buyer having trouble paying
Customer won an item but theyre having trouble paying as card won't go through. Claims his card is healthy and the problem is on my end. He mentioned a restriction list but I dont know what that is or how it would affect his card.
I have received payment for two other items sold at the same time (lower costs).
I did notice my card was 'Ineligible for selling costs' but I also have Paypal and a credit card on file. What more can I do at my end? thank you.

Mentor3 months agoIf it's a payment problem it won't be at "your end" as the buyer doesn't pay you. They pay eBay.
If you have created a blocked bidders list it would be up to you to amend it, or to make an exception for this buyer. But if they match the criteria you selected to block bidders, why would you want to do this?

Mentor3 months agoIf they were coming up against a seller set restriction they would not have been able to get as far as payment. Sellers don't have anything to do with payments so it's not your problem.

The restriction list is a Blocked list that a seller can put any eBayer on that they do not want to sell to.
Ask the buyer to contact eBay customer services for their help as they will be able to see the problem.
