Buyer hasnt paid
I sold an item using ebay auction. The buyer asked one day later to cancel the order and I declined. They havent paid. I can't cancel the order so that I can relist because it says order already cancelled. I also want to report the buyer for non-payment. How can I cancel it?

Mentor6 months agoVery unwise to refuse a cancellation, as either you have to wait 4 days to cancel for non payment or buyer pays and then invents a reason to return for a full refund. You have to provide a return label and refund in full.
That means no sale but you are out of pocket with two lots of postage. You can appeal to ebay AFTER refunding, but will still be out of pocket, and ebay is unlikely to do anything.
In similar circumstances, just cancel and add buyer to blocked bidders list, at least will cost you nothing.

Mentor6 months agoBuyers are allowed 4 complete days to pay before you can open a Non Payment case ---you can recover any FVFs by opening an Unpaid case/s for non payment after 4 days and give timewasters a well deserved account defect/strike.

Mentor6 months agoYou have to wait 4 complete days to issue an Unpaid Item cancellation. If it's not letting you and it's still in limbo contact ebay about it. You can ask them to call you from here:
