Buyer Has To Raise An Undelivered Dispute with Seller for Simple Delivery & GSP?
Summary: sweetpeadave expresses frustration over using the Global Shipping Programme, where a buyer must raise a dispute directly with the seller despite the seller not being at fault for lost or damaged parcels. They are upset that their funds are put on hold during the dispute, even though the issue is out of their control. tobiasd4 advises ensuring tracking is added to demonstrate delivery to the Global Shipping Programme center, as buyers must open a case with eBay.
So, I use the Global shipping Programme for ease --- I embraced simple Delivery - buyer chooses their own delivery and I just stick on their label. No problem, they said, any lost or damaged parcels not yours to deal with and not your fault. So why does the buyer have to raise the issue with me and why are MY funds put on hold???? Ebay said they could not override that and I had to wait until the end of the dispute time to get my money back even though it was not my issue to deal with. It was £14.99 so no one is going to starve but what if it had been more? The buyer knew it was not my issue and said we had dispatched really quickly and done our job. It can't just be me that has this issue-----it's been a while so why are there no alternative reporting processes??

Make sure you add tracking showing delivery to GSP centre & that it was GSP item.
