Buyer has paid postage but now wants to collect in person

Question

Hi sold an item today for £400, buyer has paid but selected postage, he has messaged saying he would now like to collect in person. I would prefer this option but how do I go about getting a collection code. Not willing to just hand over the item without full protection. Any advice please

Cancel/refund the transaction with buyer's agreement via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your orders/sold list. Then relist as collection for them to buy again.

The problem you have though is you need to refund them from what you say. Before relisting. The rest of the advice is correct, all I would suggest is print out the invoices/slips with paid and get them to sign it too that they have collected.
