Hi there,
I sold an item that was brand new to a buyer. They wanted a refund as they said it didn't work. I issued a full refund and sent a postage address label. I have not received the item back and the seller is not responding to me. I can see that the buyer reached out to ebay regarding this. I have reported buyer but have not received any information back from ebay after 10 days.
I can't find any other information about this despite trawling through ebay. It's a minefield.
Can anyone please help me.
Can't even email or message ebay regrading the matter. It's just an automated bot.

Mentor4 months agoebay will do nothing, refunds are expected to be made AFTER return. Refunding before return closes case as it implies no return required.
I am sure that it is far wiser to follow ebay instructions and read all details of procedure.

Mentor4 months agoWhen refunds are issued prior to return of item as far as ebay is concerned the item does not have to be sent back. If the buyer refuses to return it there's isn't much you can do.
You can try contacting ebay but I doubt they can help. If you want to try you can ring them or request they ring you but only on a phone. So view this link on your phone:
