Buyer has not returned exchange part

Hi, I offer an exchange item on a part. I send the buyer a refurbished part and they send me their old one whatever the condition postage paid by me and packaging , This is advertised as so. I know there is a lot of trust that they send the old one back but have found everyone has do apart from my recent buyer who will not send his old part back to me. How can i get ebay involved as i cannot find any way to open a case against him. The part costs £40 exchange service but to replace it i would have to buy new at £200 leaving me quite out of pocket.

That is an off-ebay arrangement. With ebay you just buy and sell and only those transactions can be enforced. So nothing you can do on here. Maybe try money claim online if the value makes it worthwhile.

Thanks for the reply, I will remove the listing because of this which is unfortunate. Lesson learned Not to trust peolple. I will try small claims court.
