My buyer has asked me to delay postage by two weeks. I have used simple delivery, I am happy to do this. Should I inform ebay and if so how?

Mentor6 months agoIf buyer has not paid, you could ask him to delay payment until he wants you to post. While ebay will remind him to pay, they will take no action against him.
If he has paid, then as said you are committed to posting, or getting damaging “late dispatch”, so best to cancel sales with buyers agreement and relist for repurchase later.

Mentor6 months agoYou may be happy to delay delivery but eBay wont be, they will give you an account damaging defect if not despatched in stated time, it's best to cancel and relist for the buyer at a later date
