Buyer false dispute
Buyer claiming I sent them an item, firstly it would not fit in the parcel I sent so it's clear he's moved the label to something else in an attempt to rip me off. I'm struggling to make ends meet and I sold part of my collection to pay rent.
I'm struggling with my mental health and this has really made it harder.
Please advise. I have already blocked them for a rude tone

I can see the buyer has left two negative feedbacks.
If all is resolved, you could ask for them to be removed.
You can send a 'feedback revision request' from your feedback page.

Mentor6 months agoIn cases like this, do please try to remember that it isn't you who decides whether the buyer has to be refunded, it's eBay. Leaping in to call them a liar has just provoked angry feedbacks and counter claims by the buyer. Nobody even knows the facts yet, there could still be an innocent explanaton for the confusion.
It's a bit late now, but if they haven't done so already please just ask the buyer to open cases under eBay's money back guarantee, send them prepaid labels to return the items and let eBay deal with it in the usual way.
The reality is that the buyer will almost certainly be refunded - buyers almost always are - but when you get your items back you will have the opportunity to report them for abuse of the guarantee. There is a possibility that eBay may reimburse you for the refund and maybe even remove the negative feedbacks if you can prove your claims.

·6 months agoIf the buyer has opened a case through Ebay stating they received the wrong item, you will have to deal with it. You can deal with it through the case only, you don't have to respond to messages.
It is possible that labels were swapped during transit and the buyer is perfectly genuine.

Mentor6 months agoAre they claiming the item is damaged or different from what was ordered?
Unfortunately, if you are in a transaction with a member messages for the time being cannot be blocked from that person.

OP6 months agoThey sent me a message automatically claiming I'm a "scammer" showing a board game and packaging I didn't send with the label I used kinda work and slapped on their package

Mentor6 months agoHave you sent a message to the buyer asking if they sent this message to the wrong seller? Ask them to check their purchases again because you did not send that item.
Although difficult I know, but keep the message polite.
