Buyer expected of a scam
Summary: urbexrorshach expressed concern about a potential scam with an expensive item they sold, which was attempted for delivery twice by Royal Mail without success. The buyer has not taken steps to collect or arrange delivery, raising suspicions of dishonest intentions. urbexrorshach is frustrated with the lack of support from an online platform, reflecting on a past experience where they were scammed similarly. tommystrezures advised that after two attempts, it's the buyer's responsibility to collect their item, which will be returned to the seller if unclaimed after 18 days.
I have sold a rather expensive item and sent it 48 hour Rpyal Mail delivery. The Post Office have tried to deliver it twice and both times the buyer says she was not in. She has also not contacted Royal Mail to collect or arrange a delivery. I have a suspicion she is hoping it will be left at her door and she will suggest she did not get it. Ebay have been useless I helping. What can I do.
I regret was scammed a few years back when I sold a computer and the seller said they could not afford bSpecial Delivery and asked me just to send it. I did, he said he bnever received it though the Post Office said he did.

Mentor3 months agoTHere isn't a lot that can be done. If two delivery attempts have been made and cards left through the door it is the responsibility of the buyer now to collect their item from the sorting office. They have 18 working days to do this, before items are returned to the seller.
Does the tracking say attempted delivery? and or what does it now actually say?
