Buyer did not provide collection code
How can I get eBay to mark item as collected when the buyer did not provide a qr or collection code but has paid and taken the item already.
No order slip was signed either

Luckily I have been able to get hold of the buyer but I’m not impressed that even if you get the email customer services link to appear it just loops around repeatedly.
Replacing agents with AI completely is not customer service grumble grumble, was better in the old days grumble, grumble*

Mentor3 weeks agoThere isn't any way forward here with eBay, contacting them is a waste of time. With a collection item you're not supposed to hand it over without the buyer giving you the code, this is the proof that the buyer has collected their item.
If you don't have the code then eBay will hold your payment for 14 days, just to make sure that there aren't any issues.

Mentor3 weeks agoYou can't get ebay to do anything if the buyer won't. You will get paid though, it just takes longer.
