Hello wise ones! A buyer recently purchased three vinyl 12" records from me together. Following Ebay advice I posted the three records (plus two free records I had enclosed as a gift!) TOGETHER using the same Ebay Tracked Postage Slip that was printed off at my Post Office, and manually entered the same tracking number for each of the other two records he had ordered. All of which show as being delivered 10:42am on Saturday 14 March. I was then astounded to see yesterday (Sunday) he has opened two item not received claims and sent me a singularly unbalanced and rude message! As all the records were posted together in the same sturdy and carefully packaged cardboard album mailer this is absolutely impossible and he is clearly trying to sc-am me.How can this even happen when the tracking - Via Ebay Records when I click on the 'View Tracking' button - shows the delivery details? Though, oddly, the status is showing only 'Shipped' for those two records while the one I used the Tracking slip for is showing 'Delivered'. Highly peculiar and bewildering? Does anyone have any idea how I can contact Ebay customer service about this to get it righted? And is buying multiple items which are then shipped together and claiming the additional ones weren't delivered a way by which scammers are abusing the Ebay Tracked mail system? I would hope it is evident from my 100% positive feedback that I am a long standing, reliable and trust-worthy seller and this experience is making me feel rather uneasy about listing valuable items in future. Your advice is most appreciated. Thank you 🙂
