Buyer can't mark item as received because I didn't use/print the pre provided label
I recently sold an item but I couldn't print the label that was auto-generated by ebaybecause I had issues with my printer so posted using tracked special delivery and the buyer cannot mark it as received even though it has been received What can I do, or more improtantly how can the buyer mark it as received.?

Mentor1 week agoAll the buyer can do is leave feedback they cannot mark an posted item as received.
You cannot now add any new tracking, eBay suggest sending the buyer a message with those tracking details. If a case is opened later for item not received, you will be able to add those tracking details.
A refund is sent to whoever paid for the SD label:
If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days
If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.
Your payout for the item may be held for a minimum of 14 days.

OP1 week agoThank you that's both helpful and I'm frustrated by this whole thing. I went to the link you helpfully provided for 'seller pays'...and completed it. The blue submit button a tthe bottom of the form turns grey when I click on it but the page itself doesn't resolve...do you know if this means that it went through?
