buyer cancelled order and i had to refund shipping myself?
hi, so i have a gaming laptop listed on ebay for sale and someone bought it with an additional cost of £14 for shipping which was added onto the price, they cancelled the order and i refunded it but when i refunded the order the £14 has come out my bank instead of coming out of my ebay funds which i already used to pay for the shipping label, surely this should of also been refunded as part of the price that was paid ? i cant find a direct way to contact ebay or talk to an agent to ask why this has happened

Mentor9 months agoNot sure what you are complaining about. When a sale is cancelled buyer gets a full refund, leaving the seller out of pocket by the original postage.
You say the money had been used to pay for postage, so therefore not enough left for a full refund, so came from bank account. It is now up to you to cancel the label to get postage refund, so you end up with no loss.
