Buy it now Cancelled and re listed at a higher price

Question

I recently brought an item with buy it now only to have the seller cancel my purchase stating the reason as item unavailable or damaged. Five minutes later the same item was then listed at £100 more, where do I stand?

If you can, leave appropriate feedback eg a negative with wording such as "did not honour transaction" - keep your feedback short and sweet as in the example I have just put.

It is very bad selling by the seller, and they need to be taught a lesson.

where do I stand? This is eBay. Sellers who won't sell and buyers who don't pay are a never-ending problem. Both are liable to penalties from eBay. And you can leave appropriate feedback to warn other buyers - but keep it short and factual. eBay has so many rules about what can or can't be said that buyers who write a long rant about their sellers are liable to find that their feedback has been removed.

No one force the seller to send a bought and paid for item, but it is bad selling.

Selecting the wrong reason for a cancellation, that is, without a buyer's agreement can lead to a damaging defect on the seller's account.
