I bought an item today on EBay realised it was a mistake and immediately asked for a refund which was refused, when I queried it with the seller they stated it was bought through eBay who also stated it was posted, 5 minutes after I paid for it, ridiculous from eBay,the seller could not help,which is understandable

Mentor5 months agoThis has nothing to do with eBay, it's up to the seller to deal with cancellations and refunds.
eBay does not require sellers to accept cancellation requests.
If the item has not rrived by the latest estimated delivery date, you can oen a case under eBay's money back guarantee.
If you receive the item, if the seller accepts returns (UK business seller they are required ti by law) you can return it, but would have to pay the return postage.
Private sellers are not required to accept change of mind returns.
