Bought but no responce from seller
Hi, ive bought an item with 3weeks lead time and seller ghosted me.
The problem is ive paid through bank transfer and item is not showing as bought on Ebay. And on top of that the seller offered me a discount if I buy the same item but on diferent auction. I couldn't pay with any eBay methods so ive send a transfer and cancelled other order and got refund. I have communication with him confirming he received money and his promises item will.be ready before Christmas.
And since then he is not responding. What can I do? I cant contact ebay support as it looks like the item was refunded and bot refusing to do any action and im stuck.

That's because it wasn't bought on eBay!
Why would you expect eBay to help? You were talked into buying it from another site, and by a method that left you without any buyer protection. By doing so you threw away the money back guarantee that eBay would have provided.
Lesson learned: be on your guard when buying from unknown sellers here. eBay is a jungle.

·7 months agoThere is nothing you can do through Ebay because you made a direct payment rather than paying through Ebay checkout.
So, although you found the item and the seller on Ebay, this was not an Ebay sale.
As advised, see if your bank can help.
