Bought an item and now been told by gov.uk the item is dangerous and should be recalled
as gov.uk emailed me after the 30 day refund window I can't get my money back . Any ideas ? I think next step will be trading standards

Mentor11 months agoeBay's own money back guarantee only lasts for 30 days, unfortunately then you are too late to receive a refund back under eBay's MBG policy
eBay will pass on recall notices to buyers, but only for information; any responsibility will rest with the seller or manufacturer.
The recall notice should tell buyers what action to take. You may need to return the item to the manufacturer , get in contact with them to see if that , or any action is necessary.
