Bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max turns out it was FAKE
I bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max on 21/08/2025, but when it arrived, I immediately noticed it was fake. I initiated a return on the same day it got delivered, and got the return post a day later. Posted the phone the next day, and tracking via eBay shows delivered and expect the seller to issue a refund by 02/09/2025, but heard nothing from the seller. I also have proof, as I took a video of myself opening the package when I received it. I need to wait until after 02/09/2025, then I can escalate the issue to eBay themselves.
Anyone got any advice for me?

Mentor11 months agoEverything attributed to cases are timed to the second, when tracking shows delivery back to a seller, the seller has 48 hours to refund you, timed to the second.
You may be looking a little too early to escalate, look again tomorrow some time, the point to escalate should be there.
