Boots in my "FEEDBACK" section that I did not buy
Hello How did a pair of boots that I did NOT BUY get in my "FEEDBACK" section with items I did buy? Did someone use my card number, or did they have the same name as me, or the same account number? so very confusing??? Thanks for your help in solving this mystery???

Mentor5 months agoAh, so the feedback wasn't left for you, it was on your "Leave feedback page"?
It does sound like a glitch, and probably won't happen again but if it does, get a screenshot and contact ebay.

The only way to get an explanation as to what's happened there is to contact eBay and ask them.

Give details of which feedback you refer to?

OP5 months agoYou'd think? but there they were, when you buy items & do feedback on them from your purchase history (which these boots were not on my purchase history because I didn't buy them) after doing a feedback it shows all the other items still needing feedback, well there they were? so I contacted Ebay to talk to a representative, it was obviously a technical glitch, never happened before, interesting though! You can't see them automatically until another feedback gets done, when I do the next feedback on an actual bought item I will get the sellers name & contact Ebay again if they're still there???

As an aside, the feedback you leave others is interesting. All on a positive which is good, but nearly all have some negative view on the purchase ?

OP5 months agoYou can't see the item purchased because I didn't purchase them, interesting isn't it? so why are they there in the Feedback section, i.e. when you do feedback from your purchase history (from the items you've actually bought) after the feedback it shows all the other items you've purchased still needing feedback, & there they were, it's obviously a technical glitch? if they are still there on the next item I do feedback on, I will get the sellers name & contact a customer service representative. As for the comment on my positive feedback with a negative, that's because there's something wrong with them on arrival, i.e. stuff not shown in photos etc etc i.e. rips, tears, holes, or what have you, that's Ebay sellers for you, they're not all honest!!!...are they???...or they don't see the FAULTS & are honest??? 50-50!

Mentor5 months agoCould you be a bit more specific? Where are the boots in your feedback? Could someone you have bought from, have mixed you up with another member and left you valid feedback, but for the wrong item?
To find out what you have bought, Click on "Purchase History" where all your "paid for" items will be listed.

OP5 months agoI am an experienced buyer, I know where my purchase history is, when you do feedback from the purchase history, after the feedback is written it shows all the other items still needing feedback, & there they were, it was obviously a technical glitch, which I found interesting, it's never happened to me before, but the next time I do feedback from my purchase history & if they are still there I will get the sellers name & contact an Ebay representative to let them know!
