I'm trying to purchase a SDS stone chisel - but receive the warning that bladed items have to go through an age verification process.
I would question why an SDS chisel - which doesnt really have a knife edge - needs to go through this process, but continuing it asks for a non debit card to verify my age
I can't see any reason why a credit card can or should be used to verify age and am loathe to submit card details for such a reason, so off to ScrewFix in the morning to buy one therr!

Mentor1 week agoEbay's knife policy has a very wide interpretation and they use the credit card ownership as verification because it's cheap and easy for them.
