Been accused of violation
So I listed my old Tiffany necklace and bracelet. It’s in very good condition as was hardly worn. After a few weeks eBay have removed it saying it’s fake. Not sure on what grounds they’ve come to this conclusion. Anyway I contacted them and they didn’t seem to have any explanation. I’ve appealed it. I’ve read that this is detected by AI. It’s all genuine. I’ve been an eBayer for 18 years, I have 100% reviews. That’s all I could really tell them for my appeal. Has anyone any suggestions?

Mentor7 months agoeBay doesn't decide whether items are fake. They remove items which are reported as counterfeit by the brand rights owner.
We don't know exactly what eBay's message stated, but it's almost certain that this will be the reason. If you have appealed you can only await the result, but in general eBay isn't going to argue with the brand owners. Counterfeit or not, once an item has been reported it's unwise to try to list it again. Repeated reports for listing counterfeits can lead to account restriction.
