bad feedback left by buyer which contradicts the outcome

Hello all
I've got a problem which i cannot seem to resolve even though I've done nothing wrong!
I sold a sealed trading card booster box and the buyer requested a return on the item and immediately left bad feedback saying that the item was resealed. I opened a dialog with the buyer asking why they thought that was the case. A few messages later the buyer admitted that they had made a mistake and apologised and closed the case.
However, the bad feedback remained so I asked the him to retract the bad feedback. He then responded with an AI screen-grab which explained that it was the seller (me) that had to send a feedback revision request. I have done this and i have sent follow-up messages asking him to confirm the feedback removal but i have had no replies.
My reputation was excellent but now there is a false accusation that I sell resealed items and now there is no way that anyone would buy from me. It completely contradicts the outcome which the customer apologised for. Even worse, I have asked ebay to review it and they responded pretty quickly saying that they would not remove the feedback. Surely there must be a way I can fix this, can anyone help? Thank you in advance. Jill

Mentor5 months agoYou need to contact Customer Services again, but sometimes one has to remind them of their own, I mean of eBay rules!
Any mention of refunds and this breaks eBay's feedback rules, also any eBay involvement, so that feedback has a right to be removed.
Contact CS with the link below unfortunately, it seems the Call Back option is not always available, but I would still recommend contacting CS at 8 a.m. on weekdays, as there's more chance of being answered by Dublin.

Explain in polite Clear terms that you are [politely requesting for the negative to be removed as it breaks feedback rules and policies by mentioning refunds and asking for this meaning eBay involvement.
Hopefully that'll do the trick !
