Is there a list of buyers who habitually don't pay after winning an auction? If so, where is it please?
I can't believe there isn't one somewhere for all genuine sellers to access and cancel bids from said individuals. It appears that any negative feedback is removed when an order is cancelled due to non-payment. eBay "can" choose to restrict non paying buyers but does it ever happen?
I suppose it could be possible to set one up outside of eBay for all to see on a social media platform.
Non paying buyers create bad feeling, it's rude and downright inconsiderate besides being a waste of our valuable time.

Mentor2 months agoI believe there are unofficial lists on Facebook possibly, but as said, open to misuse, and possibly legal actions, which could prove expensive for anyone getting involved.
Ebay's system works well and it is up to sellers to use it, and use Help and Contact where sellers can resolve most problems for themselves

That would be too much of a legal minefield for ebay to deal with!

Mentor2 months agoThere is no such list, it would be open to abuse.
Ebay allows sellers to cancel for non payment, which gives the buyer a strike. Two of those in 12 months will stop those buyers from bothering sellers with tight buyer blocks set up.

Mentor2 months agoCorrect way to deal with non payers is to cancel after 4 days as unpaid,this gives buyer a strike (not viewable).
2 strikes in 12 months can restrict buying as long as sellers choose option to block buyers with 2 strikes.
Leaving negative feedback comments for buyers is against ebay policy, hence why no option.

I can accept that this is eBay policy but I certainly cannot agree that this acceptable from a seller's perspective. I have never seen an option for blocking buyers with strikes against them although I'm aware that this is possible now. Thanks for that.
It seems the non paying issue is part of the game now, after chatting with other sellers, and I have a choice to list or not.
Perhaps a publicly available list is the answer.
