Bad and rude confrontational sellers.
What is the best way to deal with sellers who put in false claims and constantly use the comments section to belittle and upset people.

OP1 month agoHow come eBay's estimated delivery time is enforced... I regularly get parcels that are 11 to 14 days, instead of advertised 2 to 3 days...

Mentor1 month ago · EditedNot sure what you mean here?
Do you have buyers who are opening item not received claims and getting refunds because delivery time has gone past the estimated delivery date showing on the orders?
Or are items you've ordered being delayed? If items are dispatched within the dispatched time showing on the listing, but there are delivery delays then this is a bit out of the hands of either eBay sellers or eBay.

Mentor1 month agoIs this a return you've opened? If so you can ignore the seller and just escalate the case to ebay as soon as the option comes up, ie. 3 complete working days after you started it.

OP1 month agoThank you for your reply and help in this predicament. It isn't a return as I want nothing else to do with the seller. The package was missing an item and the seller refused to send said utem...I have been totally abused by this unscrupulous seller. I also feel it's my fault by rising to his/her totally uncalled for and beyond rude criticism. The seller goaded me into a slanging match, of which I consider myself guilty o two accounts. Firstly for rising to it's disgusting remarks and secondly by not doing my due diligence and checking it's feedback section. If I'd done the latter, the first would not of occurred... I end up being chastised by eBay and my reply, or my response was not considered. I do find myself increasingly annoyed at eBay's practices and it's growing abuse by bad sellers. The majority of my parcels are delivered very late. In the past I've won auctions, only to be cancelled by the seller due to insufficient profits. I am in touch with a solicitor over this matter but wanted to contact other abused buyers. I don't know if I can mention the seller, one look at its replies to every comment made say's it all. Would you like to know and see the sellers unlimited abusive comments? Thank you so much for letting me vent like this because eBay did not.

Mentor1 month agoYou can't mention the seller here.
Did you open an eBay return and select "Missing parts or pieces"?
You don't have to engage with a seller, just follow eBay's returns process and get a full refund.
