hil i bidded on this item and won it for £1860
Order date:12 Nov, 2025Order total:£1,860.26 but seller did not respond to my emails but today recived mail stating that i did not pay ive checked my bank and have statments saying i have paid but i looked on ebay again and noticed same item being sold under diffrent user name, ive spent a lot of money just want my money back

·10 months agoIf your bank statement shows the payment has left your account and is not 'pending' who is the payment to?
If the payment shows as going to 'eBay' with a long reference number, then you paid through Ebay checkout.
If the payment was made direct to the seller. then you may have been scammed.
Hopefully, you didn't give the seller your personal details and then get a payment confirmation via Whatsapp - that, sadly, is a common scam.

It's hard to help with so little information.
HOW did you pay? Did you pay through eBay's checkout? What payment provider did you use, e.g. credit or debit card, paypal?
Can you confirm that you definitely paid eBay, and were not asked to pay outside of eBay in some way, e.g. by bank transfer?
If you paid eBay, the transaction should be recorded as paid in your purchase history in "My eBay".

Why are you getting a refund? You bought something, you paid you get what you paid for!

Mentor10 months agoYou only need to look at your purchases to see whether it shows as paid. That is the only proof you need to satisfy ebay.
If it does show as unpaid, then you need to see what you have done wrong, as after 4 complete days seller can cancel for non payment.

Can you screenshot the email saying you haven't paid?

Mentor10 months agoIf you don't receive it by the last estimated delivery date which should be on the listing in your purchase history, go to the item, go to the right and click on Item not Received and open a case, Escalate after 3 full days to get your refund. Take no notice of anything your seller says and do not close the case under any circumstances as you won't get another chance for a refund.
