Appealing a rejected Feedback Removal Request
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is currently a way to request a second/manual review after eBay has rejected a Feedback Removal Request?
I have already used the standard removal process and received a rejection, but I believe the reason given by eBay does not match the actual feedback left by the buyer.
Before going into the details, I'd just like to know whether there is an effective route to appeal or escalate such a decision.
Thanks.

The only chance you have is to try and appease this buyer , have they opened a case for item broken in transit, then they will receive a full refund. If this was a Simple Delivery transaction then for that reason, you would get to keep the payout for the item.
Then, you can ask the buyer if they would kindly accept and complete a feedback revision you can send to them.

OPSep 8, 2026 at 12:21 PMThanks. Just to add a couple of important details.
After the negative feedback, I contacted the buyer, offered to resolve the issue and asked for photos. The buyer replied:
“Dont worry about it ive just throw them in the bin but thanks for your offer”
I also checked the buyer’s feedback left for others. Out of 58 feedbacks, 4 are negative and 13 neutral – 17 in total (29.3%).
eBay rejected my removal request stating that “the buyer found that the item wasn't as described in the listing”, although the buyer never actually said that. Their feedback complained about poor quality, some broken pieces, value for money and that it “looks cheap”.
Would it be worth challenging eBay’s decision again on that basis, or is asking the buyer for a feedback revision now my only realistic option?
