i sold an antique gold pocket watch over 100 years old. working when the buyer received and very happy customer as my feed back said, 3 weeks later he said it stop 5 hours later after winding it up..now does not work and wants a full refund of which ebay is making me except the return. my description said in working order but may not keep time perfect and recommends a service. so now im having receive the watch back that is not in the same working condition that was sent to the buyer and could not say weather they have damaged it anymore by maybe over winding or looking into the workings in the back.. this pocket watch is over 100 years old and how can anyone expect me to guarantee after the buyer has had it for over three weeks. now i will be left with a pocket watch with much less value and out of pocket as a private seller.. i feel ebay has not taken into account the description and the positive description the buyer left when he received his watch. advice would be helpful from a sellers point of view
