An item stating delivery

I purchased an outdoor table and chairs that specified a delivery option. The next day the seller said that was a mistake and should have been collecting only they are miles away so obviously I want delivery as stated have asked ebay to cancel the purchase but they have denied my request this was done the day after the sale when the seller stated it was a mistake I have tried to contact the seller on several occasions they are clearly not going to post the item and I can't collect it as I dont drive what should I do to get my money back

Mentor1 month agoIn the same situation, if the seller made an error in their listing and then declined my cancellation request, meaning that I had to open an item not received claim and wait a couple of weeks to get my money back, I'd be leaving a well worded appropriate feedback.
That's just not on that they simply didn't apologise, cancel the order and refund.

OP1 month agoI totally agree with you. You can't even explain the situation with customer services as you have to jump through all their hoops

Mentor1 month agoWhen the estimated delivery date on the listing has passed open a "not received" case via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your purchase history page. Then escalate it after 3 complete working days.

OP1 month agoThankyou this process is so long winded the seller stated she wont post the item and it was a mistake but its gonna take around 14 days just to get my money back its ridiculous but guess I habe no choice thankyou for your reply. X
