An item I purchased has been damaged in transit by Royal Mail
The seller doesn’t accept returns , Royal Mail customer services state that EBay is the customer and not myself .
I need to report the item as damaged in order to protect the seller from a loss of nearly £100.

Mentor5 months agoNot accepting returns only ever applies to "change of mind" returns. Start a return on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041
select "Item doesn't match description"
If it's a private seller and they used eBay's Simple Delivery ebay will pay the refund when you use the reason "item damaged in delivery". The seller will keep the payment and you will not be required to return the item.
