Am trying to buy items but am overseas. Buyer is prepared to send

I've contacted the seller and he is prepared to send the items I want to the Channel Islands but eBay won't let me pay for them It just says to contact the seller to see if they will send outside the UK... which I've done. I can't get in contact with eBay either and the seller has already changed their listing to international posting. Is there anything else I can do?

Ask the seller to put your ID on their exemption list which will lift any blocks. They'll find it on their My eBay at Site Map at the very bottom of the page. Scroll down past the categories to Sell > Selling Activities > Manage Bidders.
