Alleged breach of BBE Policy.
Summary: The discussion initiated by francheville911 revolves around an alleged breach of BBE policy. papso22 responds to the initial post, but no detailed information about the alleged breach or further discussion is provided in their responses.
Good morning,
I have received a message informing me that as a seller my account does not meet the requirements of BBE Policy. They are threatening to suspend my account if I do not resolve the issue. I have reviewed the transaction referred to and I gave the buyer a full refund and told him to keep the item. He was happy and no negative feedback was left.
I've had the usual "chat" with an agent who said that the matter must be referred to the Team and that I would receive an email within 48-72 hours. When previous queries have received a similar response I never hear from the so called "Team". Clearly I don't want my account suspended in respect of a transaction where both parties were happy with the outcome. The buyer did not lodge a complaint.
Has anyone else had a similar situation?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
David.

Mentor4 months agoThat does sound odd, but we don't have a BBE policy on .co.uk. It's a .com thing.

OP4 months agoWhen I joined I mistakenly joined the American site but it's been fine so far.
It's just that the recent message just doesn't make sense but it's an uphill struggle getting an Agent to understand.
I can't convert to the UK site, so far as I'm aware, and I don't want to cancel my account as I have amassed excellent Feedback.
Assumed that this was a policy that applied to all accounts.
Not sure what to do.
