All I get is AI...how do I get a human to help with my issue on Ebay?
Summary: uffycollectables shared their experience selling on eBay, where a delivery issue led them to refund a buyer after an Evri package was mistakenly sent to the wrong address. Despite contacting Evri, they received no assistance and struggled with eBay's AI chatbot. *vyolla* advised that involving eBay directly through an item not received claim might have simplified the process by allowing eBay to handle the refund.
I have been selling on ebay for some years as a private seller selling small stuff from my loft etc. I usually buy an Evri label off Ebay. The latest sale of a broken gold fountain pen went badly as the buyer claimed that Evri delivered to the wrong address. After 3 days I chose to refund the buyer as I am an honest seller. I contacted Evri who won't help and said I need to sort this out with Ebay as I bought the postage label through Ebay. But all I get is an AI chatbot that does nothing to help me. Any advice please?

Mentor2 weeks agoThere is no point in trying to contact eBay about this if you've refunded the buyer.
The buyer should have opened an eBay item not received claim and then eBay would have dealt with it and made the refund if you used one of their Simple Delivery postage labels.
