Air conditioning over charged
Hi. I bought an air conditioner last month. Second hand £550 and I see they are now selling for £450. I also know that new they are only worth about £200 so I knew I had been ripped off. Is this something eBay can look into as it has left me very short of money and I feel the sellers are massively cashing in and this should not be allowed.

Mentor1 week agoReally, you should have done your research before buying.
Ebay will not be interested, sellers can set any price they like, it is not up to ebay to tell sellers they are too expensive, or at the other extreme, selling too cheaply.

Mentor1 week agoEbay won't be interested as it is up to sellers to set the price & buyers to chose whether to pay it or not.
It's a case of supply and demand.
Lots of people want AC at the moment due to heatwave, so buyers are willing to pay extra when items are in short supply, you have admitted this yourself by pay extra to get unit now.
