AI Blocking sales
At the start of May 2026 ebay's AI removed 3 of my adverts for ( lithium batteries ) but none of the items had lithium batteries , this led to a lack of sales directly after ebay's mistake...........At the start of August 2026 ebay's AI removed another advert ( adult content ) this was an item I bought on ebay for £320 item number 800091902875 on 29/5/26 & was trying to re-sell as ebay encourages sellers to do & once again has led to only one sale over the past SIX DAYS

Mentor1 month agoLooking at listing number you gave, it may be because the picture on the skate board.
AI picked up your listing, but not when when your seller listed it.

OP1 month agoThere is still EXACTLY the same Hook ups skateboard decks for sale on ebay UK/USA today , i'm not only ticked off about spending £320 on ebay & not being able to resell it on ebay but the main crux of my HEADLINE is this is causing a BLOCK ON SALES , 4 days back in MAY 2026 & now 6 days in AUGUST 2026

Were these electric bikes?
These are only allowed to be sold by those registered as Business sellers.

OP1 month ago · EditedI already said NONE of my items listed had lithium batteries , I have sold skateboards for the last 9 years on ebay.........BUT NEVER electric skateboards , I am more worried about the ZERO SALES happening at exactly the same time ebay's AI is removing listings as this is TWICE now

Most odd then why a skateboard item was removed, an ' adult item' comes with various regs and policies to be able to sell it, but no one can give you a definitive answer here, not being able to see the exact item, and more importantly, the exact title and description.

OP1 month agoAgain you seem to be diverting from my HEADLINE ( plus I included the exact item number ) ebay's AI is not only stopping certain listings by mistake but this is also causing a BLOCK ON SALES , 4 days in MAY 2026 & NOW 6 DAYS in AUGUST 2026 & if you search Hook ups skateboard deck you will still see 100's of skateboard decks STILL FOR SALE ON EBAY , exactly the same BRAND as my listing that was removed by ebay's AI for adult content

Mentor1 month agoOnly ebay CS can give more details, although they often don't want to.
If item has been removed, do not relist, next time ebay may suspend you.
Another thing you have to careful of now you are on ebay radar is that you should be registered as a business, you admit buying to sell on.

OP1 month agoI keep a detailed daily record of my sales for my tax return , hence me spotting the pattern of ZERO SALES , Ebay are not & never have been chasing a single seller in the USA for being a private seller acting as a business under the exact same policies , RE -- ebay's AI removing adverts leading to ZERO SALES If this had only happened the once I would be none the wiser BUT TWICE something is far wrong with the AI system & once again if i'm not selling on ebay = i'm not buying on ebay
