ADVICE ON SENDING A HI FI RACK THAT HAS TO BE BROKEN DOWN INTO 7 CONSTITUENT PARTS
Hi
I'm at my wits end trying to find advice on how best to send a hi-fi rack I have sold. The rack consists of 3 aluminium frames and 4 toughened glass shelves. Each of the 7 items requires individual packing, which I have arranged. My enquiry is how do I pay for delivery on this 7 part package to be combined as "one"

Mentor2 months agoIF you use parcel force at your post office, they can consign the boxes/packages for you, so they will enter the total weight eg 30Kg and then spread this over the 7 boxes. Its about the cheapest way of doing it that I can think of.

Mentor2 months agoTo be honest this is a problem you should have considered before listing for sale, it should have been much simpler to make it Collection only.
I think you will need to forget Simple Delivery and pack and ship by another method, and cancel the postage label. Perhaps see if your quoted Shipper has any useful suggestions.

OP2 months agoI actually posted the item on line before I had properly considered postage etc- I was attempting to multi tssk- very badly! Before I could go back and fix it the item had sold- which caught me off guard. It has been more trouble than its worth!

Not a good idea to include such detail in a post in a public forum.
