ADVICE ON SELLING
I have one item for sale, and I am new to ebay. I have eight views on the item, and one watching. What does it mean when it says there is one watching. Will that person make an offer for item and when?

That's up to the user who is watching your listing.
They might b planning to bid later - or could already have set a "snipe" bid to be placed a few seconds before the listing ends. Or they may just be interested in the price it reaches, perhaps because they have a similar item themselves.
By the way, as this is a flueless gas fire it would be a good idea to mention the installation, ventilation and and room size requirements for this type of gas appliance. As you have received no bids you you could still add this. You cannot assume that buyers will be aware of these.
