Hi everyone,I’m looking for some guidance on a return case I currently have open.I sold a Botslab G980H 4-channel dash cam system (360° model with GPS). The buyer opened a return request within the return period claiming the device had WiFi connectivity issues and lag.I accepted the return request and provided a prepaid return label on 16 April as per eBay process.However, since then:No tracking has been uploaded yetThe buyer has not shipped the item within the return timeframeInstead, I have received repeated messages stating the device is “not working properly” and also that the unit is “difficult to remove from the windscreen due to adhesive/stickers”The return deadline is 1 May.I have already instructed the buyer to return the item using the provided label, but they continue to raise installation-related issues rather than dispatching the item.My concern is:What happens if the buyer does not return the item before the deadline?How does eBay handle cases where return is approved but the buyer delays shipment or cites installation difficulty?Am I protected as long as I followed the return process and provided the label?Any advice from sellers who have experienced similar situations would be appreciated.Thanks in advance.
