Advertising the wrong weight of dog biscuits
Hi,
I have ordered some dog biscuits that were advertised as 10 kg bags. However, when the confirmation came through, the order was for 1.5 kg bags instead. I asked to cancel the order but was refused, due to the order already being placed. Is this the correct procedure or is it wrong to advertise the wrong size bags.

Mentor1 month agoLooking at listing, description does not say bag size, but picture (which forms part of description) shows 10kg bag.
As i said, if 1.5kg bag arrives, just open not as described case & escalate on day 4 if no label or refund.
Ignore seller excuses.

OP1 month agoThanks for replying. Yes, the delivery has arrived and they are the 1.5kg bags so they will be going back and I will be requesting a refund. Im glad you can see the problem I've had because its deffo not clear.

Mentor1 month agoIts not clear and you will be right to send the item back. You need to open a not as described case, as @tobiasd4 says stating picture shows 10kg bag and you received 1.5kg.
It looks as though on their title of that listing they have run out of characters as its starts to say bag si.... However there is no excuse not to mention it in the main description. Quite a few of their listings have this issue too I notice.

Mentor1 month agoOf course it is wrong, have you never bothered to read the 30 day money back guarantee.
You either get what you paid for or you open a Not as described case.
There is s link on every item!

Mentor1 month agoWas listing a multiple one, I.E. you select item size from drop down menu?
If you ordered 10kg bag & they send 1.5kg bag, open item not as described case.
Seller supplies returns label, you post back for full refund.
Item in your purchase history will show what you bought.

OP1 month agoHi, thanks for replying. No, there is no drop down box to choose size of bags. The picture of the bag shows 10kg but no size of bag on the item description. Only when you get the confirmation does it show 1.5 kg.

Mentor1 month agoDid the listing have a drop down menu perhaps? The main title showing 10kg bags available , but if you did not select that quantity, the lowest amount could be selected and lowest price paid.
Is this what happened?
Otherwise, if you selected and Paid for a 10kg bag , and 1.5kg bag arrives, you have a case for item not as described to open, for a full refund.
