Address unknown
Hi all, I'm just after some advise please.
I keep getting parcels delivered to my home for a person I've never heard of and has definitely not lived here.
The post office can't stop them so every week I'm having to return them to the central office.
Last week there were 15! I'm already at 6 this week.
Any ideas how to stop them?

Mentor3 weeks agoAre you sure this is from an eBay seller?
If you have purchased some recent items from eBay, checkout those sellers, they may just have posted to the wrong buyer.
Click on the seller's listings, then down the left sidebar click on Sold. If you find the item there, send that seller a message that you have received their item in error, for them to send you enough money to cover a fully tracked return postage to return the item back to them.
Do not be fobbed off with sending to the correct buyer, it goes back to the seller.
If this is not the case, and no one else in your household knows of this purchase, google Brushing Scam see if that applies here.

OP3 weeks agoHi, yes they are all from Ebay, tracked mail.
I've not brought for Ebay for about 3 months and all the parcels are from different people!

Mentor3 weeks agoHave you inspected the contents of these parcels? Are they tracked?
If you know the contents you could try searching to see if you can find the seller.
However I suspect they are not all from same person, and may be some sort of returns scam.
Is there any evidence that the parcels have anything to do with ebay, and do they have return addresses?

OP3 weeks agoI'm not going to open them as they don't belong to me.
They are all tracked.
They are all from Ebay and have return addresses.
What's more frustrating is I've told Royal Mail there's no one of that name at this address, they've said they deliver to the address not the person.
Some of the ones ive taken back to the main office have been redelivered to me this morning 😵

Mentor3 weeks agoCross your address out on the label with a sharpie so its unreadable, put a blg red circle round the return address and then write 'Return to sender' next to it and put it in the nearest post box.

Are they belng sent via Royal Mail or courier or both?
