Additional postage for multiple item listing purchases
I have just sold multiple items on a multiple item listing, but due to Simple Delivery, postage has only been paid for a single item meaning the parcel has gone out well overweight.
Item postage label is prepaid due to simple delivery, but is not covering the multiple items purchased weight, and I have a feeling im going to be stung for this. How can this be avoided on future listings, as I can't see a means of charging additional postage? Is this a flaw in the system?

Mentor1 month agoIt must be a flaw in the system where the amount of items has taken the parcel over the weight/size parameters of eg. small parcel rate. The best thing to do is to cancel/refund the transactions with the buyer's agreement and relist with items on one listing and a single postage cost for the buyer to buy and pay again.
For future multiple item sales work out how many items will take it over the limit and then put a note on your listings that any buyers wanting to buy more than that amount should let you know first. Then you can relist those items into one listing with one postage cost.
