Additional postage charge
Hi I've been asked to send more money for additional postage charge but I don't know how to send the money can someone help me please

Mentor2 weeks agoYou shouldn't need to pay any more --- If seller wishes to cancel the order just advise them it is often cheaper and quicker to use Royal Mail instead of Couriers with premium prices which often cost much more than R M for Northern Ireland delivery to BT Postcodes.

Mentor2 weeks agoCan’t and should not be necessary. If seller makes a mistake with postage then it is their problem and should honour sale and learn from mistake.

OP2 weeks agoThanks for your reply, just got a message back from the seller to say they contacted eBay and eBay said that I need to pay the extra money because of my postcode, but when I was buying the item my postcode was clearly marked and it said Free delivery to that postcode. I'm really confused as eBay told me not to pay, but they told the seller I had to pay or cancel my order. This is all so confusing they took the payment straight away but I will have to wait for my refund. eBay need to get there act together and make sure p&p is clearly shown if your in a remote place. I live in Northern Ireland don't get how this is a remote place, it's not the outback. Thanks for your message.

You can't send extra money through ebay anyway.

OP2 weeks agoThanks for your help the seller said I live in a remote area but I live in Northern Ireland it's not the outback. When I was purchasing the item my postcode was clear to be seen and it said Free delivery to it, eBay when I looked it up said for me not to pay the extra money, but the seller got back to me to say eBay told them I had to pay or cancel the order, so who's right 🤔

Mentor2 weeks agoThe seller is lying. ITs their responsibility to get the item to you, I suspect they are using Evri or the like who charge these stupid premiums. Their alternative is to ask you as the buyer if its ok to send Royal Mail who don't charge the premium.
IF they are going to be that pedantic, they need to cancel the order (only the seller can) however you can still leave negative feedback. With this leave it short and simple such as "Did not honour transaction"
