Adding Collect in Person Option to Simple Delivery
Hi
I am trying to list a bulky item (a folding chair) and simple delivery is coming up with a bulky postage option via DHL which seems fine. I would like to also add collect in person as an alternative option but can't figure out how to do this. Is it possible?

Mentor10 months agoI don't know size or weight of chair, but have you checked it will be accepted by carriers,
may be better to stick to collection only.

Mentor10 months agoDuring the listing process under the heading Delivery Details there are three options and the first one is Postage or Collection in Person.

Thanks for your reply but that is not what I am seeing. Under delivery details I have a drop down list containing the collection option plus all my previous postage policies. If I select a postage policy it says that simple delivery will override this and comes up with the simple delivery postage service details (in this case the bulky option which is DHL). If I then select collect in person the delivery option is removed. I can't seem to have both on the listing, either a postage option or collect in person but not both at the same time. I will try removing all my old postage policies and see if that makes any difference.

OP10 months agoThat didn't work unfortunately as I can't remove my postage policies. It says because they are being used by active listings but I am also unable to remove them by editing the active listings. I even tried starting a new listing from scratch but it just selects one of my postage policies which I can change to another but not remove even though it is being overridden by simple delivery.

Mentor10 months agoWhich device and browser are you using? If the app or mobile browser switch if you can to a laptop / PC and use Chrome, that seems to work well with eBay, then you should see 3 boxes:
The last one is the one you need.
Start the listing from new.

OP10 months agoThanks for taking the time to reply but that won't help as I want to have a postage option AND a collection option if the buyer wants to save on postage. I am sure we used to be able to do this, I think there was a toggle button to allow collection as an additional option. I am using a laptop and have tried with Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge but no luck.

OP10 months agoHi, think I may have misread your message - I would need the first option, not the last, but am not seeing those options anyway. I think it may be because of the postage policies I had previously set up. These are what I am seeing in the drop down list along with collection in person but no way to select a postage option and collection, and no way to remove the postage policies either!
