Account suspended without explanation or appeal
After 20 years of selling with 100% positive feedback over hundreds of purchases I've had my account seemingly permanently closed. EBay won't give an explanation and if I call the agents won't discuss. There are credit funds in the account I can't now withdraw. How is this allowed? I did nothing wrong! I recent buyer did try to 'blackmail' me to send free items or they would 'get my account closed' and it seems that's happened. I guess there's nothing I can do?

Mentor6 months agoI suggest you look at your Seller Dashboard, if still available.
No member can get an account closed, only ebay can do that and it is more likely to relate to defects etc. which will show on your seller dashboard.
Ebay expect no more than a 2% defect rate, and from comments in your feedback you must have at least one defect, and with a low number of sales in recent times could make you well over 2%.
Cancelling a sale without agreement of buyer automatically gives a defect.
This can only be a guess, from what can be seen by any member. We do not have access to your account details.
